What was the problem?

The start of the project was marked by an urgent challenge: to produce an impressive 55 graphs in an extremely limited timeframe. This tight timeframe made it necessary to identify and implement efficient methods to successfully achieve this goal.

The project involved the creation of 55 graphics structured as follows: first and last name, company name, a characteristic quote or motto, and a personalised address section (with appropriate politeness, such as "to Mr/Mrs"). The materials were produced in three languages: Romanian, English and Italian, to cater for the linguistic diversity of the target audience.

Plan Steps and Implementation:

  1. Creating the Basic Template: Develop a standard design for wood box engravings, ensuring product consistency and quality.
  2. Development of the Action Plan: Using artificial intelligence for bulk editing of designs and correcting or adding necessary diacritics.
  3. Editing the Recipient List: Reviewing and anonymising the list of recipients to comply with GDPR rules, preparing them for the personalisation process.
  4. Creating New Sections in Excel: Adding new columns in Excel for quotes, mottoes and address formulas, including translating them into the required languages.
  5. Finalizing the Excel Document: Use GPT Chat to add missing diacritics and standardize the list of names for a uniform format.
  6. Design Implementation: Integrate Excel data into previously created designs using Canva's bulk editing functionality to customize charts.
  7. Facing Challenges: Adapting the design to longer names or atypical structures that exceed the standard template limitations.
  8. Final Optimization: Adjust the position and alignment of graphic elements to ensure a consistent and professional presentation of all custom graphics.

Efficiency and Time Saving

Integrating artificial intelligence into our design has radically transformed the efficiency and accuracy with which we approached design tasks. Instead of traditional methods, which would have involved days of intensive manual labor, we were able to complete the entire project in record time. With the help of AI technology, our designer completed the tasks in just 2 hours, as opposed to the 2 or 3 days it would have taken a traditional designer. This not only saved us valuable time but also resources, completing the project in one day.

AI's ability to bulk edit and automatically proofread text eliminated the need for laborious manual checks for each text element. This saved us from the possibility of human error and repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus on the creative and strategic aspects of the project. In addition, the use of Chat GPT for fine-tuning the text and adding diacritics helped to significantly streamline the process, ensuring a high quality finished product without compromise.
